Summary:

Mute Xiao Man is a female student, who never returned home after she visited her relatives, and died under strange circumstance. Qian Qian, who was her classmate and best friend, guides the teacher and three other students to come to Yuanyao Village using false pretext. What she really wanted to do is to discover what really happened to her friend at this in the middle of nowhere place.

At the village, all of them discover that Xiao Man and her family, were involved in strange rituals related to the local dolls. But is it a true story or only a gruesome legend, used to cover up a crime?
